Getting Started

All first-time volunteers are encouraged to attend a New Volunteer Orientation. Orientation sessions are about 30 minutes long and are open to the public.

Orientations are currently run via Zoom on the first Monday (6:00 PM) and the third Thursday (Noon) of the month. Please visit our event calendar for more details.

Please note:

• All volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
• Habitat is unable to sign off on court-ordered community service.

During the New Volunteer Orientation, you will be asked for your birth date and email address. Following a successful background check, you will have access to VolunteerHub, our online volunteer management system. Once you sign in, you’ll be able to view upcoming opportunities and schedule yourself for shifts.
