Women Build: Sink Basics

The 2021 Women Build Workshop series presents Sink Basics, with Sandi, on Wednesday, January 20 at 4:30 PM PST.
In this interactive Q&A workshop, Sandi will demonstrate how to replace a faucet and unclog drains. She will discuss tips and tricks on basic sink repair, tools needed, and when you need to turn off water to the house or fixture to do repairs.

Meet the instructor: Sandi
Growing up in a family of plumbers and handy persons, Sandi began learning from a young age skills for maintaining and repairing just about anything. She began taking apart bathroom fixtures at age 8, hanging drywall at age 13, and working on her own cars at 16.
For seven years Sandi was a member of the team that created and led the City of Tacoma’s Neighborhood Makeover Week, providing training to Tacoma citizens on home maintenance and holding an annual event to beautify Tacoma neighborhoods. She enjoys using her varied skill set to work on projects at her own home and sharing her knowledge with others.
