Women Build is excited to bring a Leadership Workshop Series in 2021 and we’re kicking off with a great seminar on Wednesday, January 13 led by Krystle Edwards, founder of Grit City Women.

In this interactive seminar we will discuss the various barriers for women leaders and how to overcome them, the challenges of leading in a male-dominated workplace, and tips for conflict resolution and leveraging your emotional response.

Meet the Speaker

Krystle Edwards, South Sound Business Magazine’s “Top 40 Under 40” and founder of Grit City Women, is a visionary supporter of female forward businesses that distinguishes Tacoma as a mecca of grit, creativity and progressive ideas. Her skill in leading conversations around difficult topics comes from her formal education in developmental psychology and human biology, and her experience as a supervisor in the male dominated world of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. Krystle has been invited to participate in multiple innovative projects at the City and Federal level, including being invited by Tacoma’s Mayor Victoria Woodards to be a core team member of Mayor Woodards’ Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative.
